Instructions for the O.C.T. Voice Mail System
To retrieve messages and access the voice mail box system:
From your apartment:
- Lift the handset and dial 5000
- Enter your pass code*
- Follow voice prompts to play, keep and discard messages
Away from your apartment:
- Dial 379-5000
- Press the # key
- Enter all seven digits of your apartment telephone number
- Enter your pass code*
- Follow voice prompts to play, keep and discard messages
Options:
- Press 3 to discard the message (Note: once a message is discarded it cannot be retrieved!)
- Press 7 to replay the message
- Press 1 to pause the message
(Press 7 to start the message again.)
- Press 6 to skip to your next message
- Press * to rewind the message 5 seconds
- Press # to forward the message 5 seconds
- Press 9 to return to the previous menu
- Press 8 to to hear the date and time of the message
*The default pass code for all voice mail boxes is 7777. If this pass code does not work, call our Customer Service Center at 379-3000 for assistance. We suggest you change your pass code to prevent unauthorized access to your voice mail box.
